You Heard It Hear First: Worst To First

The definition of a true fan is actively supporting your team even in the worst of times.

For the San Francisco Giants, these are those times.  23.5 games back… as we used to say in the old days, truly a June Swoon.

So this is my time to help my team.

I had a great thought yesterday:  Last year the Giants were the best team before the All Star break… and the worst after.  It would be mathematical irony if that was switched this year.

Like a true fan, somehow that has given me extra incentive to root!

And, go figure, the Giants had a big win over the Rockies last night.  :)

The Warriors Win… Because This Year Klay Thompson Didn’t Wear A Dodgers’ Cap!

Last year the Golden State Warriors had a commanding 3-1 lead over the Cleveland Cavaliers…

… and then Klay Thompson insultingly wore a freakin’ Dodger cap to AT&T Park and never apologized and the next thing you know the Cavs beat the Warriors 4-3.

This year the Golden State Warriors had a commanding 3-1 lead over the Cleveland Cavaliers…

… and then Klay Thompson had the good sense NOT to wear anything remotely looking like freakin’ Dodger blue… and, guess what?

The Warriors win the 2017 NBA Championship!

Coincidence?  As they say… ahem… “I THINK NOT!”
